Open to travel and recreational players from all clubs

FC Montco is proud to announce our 10-week Winter Academy, an off-season training program featuring instruction from FC Montco Director of Coaching, Andy Wilkes, Technical Director Liam Woods, and Professional Trainer Kylie Williams.

The periodized curriculum for this season's 10-week program stresses the following technical and tactical elements of our game, all within the positive, healthy, and progressive environment your players have become accustomed to:

  • Shielding
  • Turning
  • Attacking 1v1 and 2v1
  • Building Attacks
  • Defending 1v1 and 2v2
  • Shooting and Finishing
  • Building from the Back
  • Pressing as a Unit

Dates Jan 6, 2025 to mid-March 2025
Once or twice a week (Weather Permitting - See Weather Policy below)

Program Fee $160
Attire Players should wear shin guards and cleats and be sure to dress in warm layers. No need to bring a ball, but be sure to bring water to stay hydrated!
Weather Policy FC Montco follows US Soccer Cold Weather Training Guidelines, with training proceeding under green, yellow, and orange conditions, but not red conditions.  

 

 

How to Register

  • Current FC Montco Travel Players - Registration for Winter Academy is not required for current U9 and above Travel players. Please update your availability on their team's TeamSnap account.
  • Interested U9-U12 Players - Players not currently registered in the FC Montco travel program will need to register for Winter Academy. There are very limited spots for Boys with birth years 2014, 2015, and 2016.
  • Interested U13+ Players - Please email for availability.
